Company history/background
The company being sought is an IT company with in-house developed software and an annual turnover of at least €2,000,000. Of this, at least 50% must be recurring revenue.
Company activities
Our client has more than 140 software companies worldwide, of which approximately 45 are in the Benelux. These are all IT companies with in-house developed software and recurring revenue from the sale of licenses and/or maintenance agreements.
They employ a buy-and-hold strategy in which they seek companies that can be continued autonomously.
Unique selling points
Our client's strength lies in a global network of IT companies. The acquired company can leverage this network, allowing performance to further enhance. This includes, among other things, customer expansion, internationalization, and management support.
An acquisition by our client entails the following benefits:
- The acquired company continues to operate autonomously (own name, logo, and location);
- Not a private equity firm, but the owner and retaining the acquired companies;
- Connection to a global network;
- The salesperson may remain employed, in which case a bonus scheme will be agreed upon; and
- The turnaround time for the acquisition is limited.
Other
A full takeover (100%) is preferred. Our client attaches great value to maintaining the corporate culture, company name, and the ideas and wishes of the current owner. Ideally, but not necessarily, the current owner remains involved after the takeover.
Responses are treated with the utmost confidentiality; a confidentiality agreement will be signed in advance if desired. If there is interest in a potential sale, Adcorporate will assess the seller's goals and wishes, after which an introductory meeting with our client can take place.
