Accounting firm for acquisition sought in the Antwerp region

An existing Antwerp accounting firm wishes to expand and grow through acquisition, and wishes to be able to offer its complementary services (management advice and digital services) to a broader client base.

Profile:

Accounting firm or bookkeeping firm facing future business succession issues.

The firm preferably focuses on enterprises and less on the hospitality and retail sectors. Furthermore, the firm is not dependent on very large clients that have a major impact on total turnover, or where the firm is dependent on a key figure inextricably linked to such a client.

The ideal turnover is between €300,000 and €1 million. Smaller deviations from this range are also open for discussion.

Ideal number of employees between 3 and 10. More or fewer is also negotiable. Preferably, the employees hold a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent.

Location:

Province of Antwerp, and more specifically the North Antwerp region: Deurne – Essen – Turnhout – Herentals and Lier. If the office is located just outside this region, this is also open for discussion.

Comments:

If the manager/owner is willing to remain partially active after the takeover, that is a plus.

Acquisition of shares or business assets is negotiable.

Preferably no real estate included in the acquisition.
